Description
Cyclopentolate is a potent parasympatholytic drug of great value in inducing cycloplegia and wide mydriasis having rapid onset, shorter duration and greater intensity.
Indications
Cyclopentolate is used to produce mydriasis and cycloplegia. It may be used in the treatment of ititis, iridocyclitis to prevent the formation of posterior synechiae and rest the painful cilliary and sphincter pupillae muscles .It is also useful for childrens refraction.
Dosage
1-2 drops in the eye which may be repeated if necessary. 
Contraindiacations
It should not be used when narrow angle glaucoma or anatomical narrow angles are present or where there is hypersensitivity to any component of this preparation. 
Warnings & Precautions

To avoid contamination do not touch tip of container to any surface. Replace cap after using. If you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation of the eye, or if the conditions worsens or persists for more than 72 hours, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Keep this and all drugs out of reach of children.

Pregnancy
Thereare, no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. Cyclopentolateshould be used in pregnant women only if the potential benefit to the mother justifies the potential risk to the embryo or fetus.

Adverse Effects
Ocular-Increased IOP, burning, photophobia, blurred vision, irritation & hyperemia.
Storage
Store in a cool dry place. Protect from light.
